PARENTS AGAINST DRUGS
VITALLY IMPORTANT INFORMATION THAT WE NEED TO KNOW
ADVICE IF WE NEED IT ON WHAT TO DO AND HOW TO
RECOGNISE THE SIGNS OF SUBSTANCE ABUSE IN OUR
CHILDREN

The following reports are downloadable and provide information on
recognition, prevention, support, cure.  I would highly recommend
that you visit The Anti Drug.com if you have any doubts, queries, or
just need to let off steam or make general enquiries.  It is an
absolutely brilliant site that covers almost every aspect and nature
of substance abuse that our children are faced with worldwide
today.  In one way or another each one of us has had some sort of
experience with some sort of abuse ranging from alcohol to cocaine
and other hard drugs, perhaps just being affected by someone we
care about who is faced with this difficulty.

Together we can make a difference to the lives of our children and
our best endeavours to keep them drug-free and safe cannot go to
waste, whichever way you look at it.  Somewhere in this world, at
some stage, someone will benefit by what we do as parents to
encourage other parents to take an active role in preventing drug
abuse.  Please read on, you will be fascinated by real-life stories of
teens and children who have faced this trauma and come through
it, and how their lives and the lives of those around them have
been affected.  Not every story has a happy ending.  Let's make a
difference!

I have also included on the
Health Page a section relating to Teen
Substance Recognition and Abuse through the eyes of a teen, in
language that is easily understood by one of younger years. (If it
has not uploaded at the time of reading this, please be patient, it
has been compiled and is ready to be published)
I highly
recommend that all parents and children have access to the
information contained in these pages
.  Remember also that there
are
FREE books on this page and in the teen section that can be
downloaded from St Aiden's to assist you and your children through
the process, whether you need assistance, guidance or just would
love to be involved.

TheAntiDrug.com was created by the National Youth Anti-Drug
Media Campaign to equip parents and other adult caregivers with
the tools they need to raise drug-free kids. Working with the
nation's leading experts in the fields of parenting and substance
abuse.

Join this forum now!  The Anti Drug - Parents Against Drugs!  Become an active parent against drug
and substance abuse.  Find out all there is to know, how to prevent it, how to recognise it and how to
deal with it compassionately, sensitively and sensibly.  This site is wonderful!  If I could incorporate
the whole of it into St Aiden's I would do so since we have a very real drug problem in South Africa.
Good Luck to all of us.  I hope the information you found on these pages has proved useful.  I would
love to hear your comments.  Best wishes always, Donnette
