Here is our mid-week update as promised. It is quite a lengthy one, I apologise for cramming your mailbox.  Although updates have been made throughout the site, our focus for now is on fun and educational Christmas activities.  The following activity books are available for immediate free download.  The books are around 50 to 90 pages each, fun colourful and adaptable to younger or older age groups.  .  

Christmas Phonics (This is a file in excess of 5MB, quite large)  This include word tracing, picture matching, word walls, flash cards, Christmas worksheets, bookmarks, spot the difference.

Christmas Picure Dictionary & Activity Book.  This includes word recognition and tracing, and picture worksheets.

Christmas Animal DIctionary & Activity Book.  This includes word recognition and tracing, and picture worksheets.

Christmas Counting.  This includes word wall, counting cards, counting activities, spot the difference and more Christmas worksheets.

Still uploading more printables to http://www.staidenshomeschool.com/activities/christmas/scrapbooking.html but there are some really lovely stencils and frames if you are perhaps thinking of giving a family scrapbook to Granny or Grandpa, or just to do as a fun family activity.  Please watch that page as more frames and scrapbooking accessories are uploaded daily.

At http://www.staidenshomeschool.com/activities/christmas/great_links.html you can find some of the most beautiful Christmas Activity books I have come across, also some electronic Christmas Cooking & Baking eBooks, Colouring Books and classical Christmas stories for free download.  Ordinarily you will not find many of these books available for free.  I have obtained the resell rights to the products and elect not to sell them to my subscribers, but to give them away as gifts. 

I was fortunate enough to come across a beautiful classic 1947 Christmas Comic, truly a collector's item.  This can be downloaded for free at http://www.staidenshomeschool.com/activities/christmas/comic_santas_surprise-1947.html

At http://www.staidenshomeschool.com/activities/christmas/christmas.html you can download a really beautiful Santa Interactive Puzzle in .exe format, which when unzipped sits on your computer desktop.  This is really a fantastic gift!  At this page also you can download more fun colouring and activity books for kids, and some great books for mum.
