What is Lemonade Day?
Sponsored by Trilogy, the Entrepreneurs Foundation, Prepared 4 Life and our many
community partners, Lemonade Day is a citywide event designed to teach
Greater Austin-area youth how to start, own and operate their own lemonade
business. On Lemonade Day, thousands of budding entrepreneurs set up
lemonade stands—providing an opportunity for businesses and families to partner
together to train the next generation of entrepreneurs through a fun, family
activity.
Lemonade Day teaches Austin-area youth about entrepreneurship in a fun and
hands-on way.
Students keep what they earn—that is of course, after covering their expenses
and paying back their investors. Students will learn how to open a youth savings
account so the money they earn can continue to grow. Since all good businesses
give back to their community, it is suggested that all participants donate a
minimum of 1-2% to a charity of their choice. Learn More from Lemonade Day.Org
