Lacing Valentine Cards

Materials:
Old greeting cards
Yarn / string / wool
Hole punch
Tape

Preparation:

Cut the fronts off greeting cards and punch holes around the edges
about 1,5 - 2 cm apart. Cut yarn into appropriate lengths for lacing.
Tape one end of a piece of yarn to the back of each card.

Method:

Let the children lace yarn through the holes in the cards. When they
have finished, trim the remaining yarn ends and tape them to the
backs of the cards.

Hint:

Lacing will be easier if you dip one end of each piece of yarn into
wax or glue or wrap it with tape to make a "needle"
Use appropriate cards for each holiday, such as Easter cards for
Easter and Christmas cards for Christmas.
