How to Make a Cute Irish
Pocketbook
This Cute St. Patrick's Day Craft is Made Out of the Plastic
Package Your Sheets Come In

St. Patrick's day is all about having everything green and
enjoying the luck of the leprechauns. This is what I was
always told when I was a child so it always stuck with me
like glue. St. Patrick's day was always a lot of fun, because
we always coloured our food green and made some

really cute crafts for that day. I also always wished when I
was a child that I would receive that pot of gold at the
end of the rainbow. I knew this wouldn't come true ,but it
was nice to think. For children this holiday can be very fun
for them just by using a little of creativity. Well knowing
that this holiday was just around the corner I wanted to
make something different and unique. Well last night I was
getting my babies ready for bed and had to take out their
new bed sheets out of the packages.

Well when I looked at that package my mind just started
thinking of all the cute things i can make with them. So this
morning the sheet packages were sitting on my kitchen
table. My daughter came over to the table and said
"mommy my purse" I said 'what purse"? So she said right
there mommy on the table. That's when it registered to me
I was gonna make a St. Patrick's day purse for my
daughter.

The items you need for this project are white construction
paper, glue, black marker, green crayon, gold glitter,
green paint, crayons to colour the rainbow, and of course
the plastic sheet package. First thing you are gonna do is
have your child help you paint the plastic package green.

Kids love this part. Let this dry for about twenty minutes or
so. While this is drying start making five shamrocks made
out of the white paper.

Colour them green then outline them with a black marker.
You are gonna have three big shamrocks plus two small
shamrocks. Glue them onto the white paper on the purse.
Now make the little stems for the shamrocks by using a
black marker and drawing them. Next make a rainbow in
the right corner, colour the rainbow in with red, purple,
blue, green, yellow, and orange crayons. Sprinkle gold
glitter all over the white paper. Now you have a four leaf
clover purse for that little girl of yours to put all her little toys
and hair stuff in.
