St Aiden's Homeschool Quidditch Rules

Rules for Quidditch at Hogwarts
All school rules are in effect during Quidditch matches
and training sessions.
Heavy hitting will not be tolerated and will result in
heightened discipline.
All on-lookers are not permitted to disrupt the game
and disciplinary action will be taken in the breech of
this and any rule.
Two teams may not practice at the same time on the
Quidditch field.
Here's a drawing of a Quidditch pitch which I
obtained from an HP website. I cannot recall the URL,
but would love to give credit!

Quidditch Rules
Here are the rules of the game "Quidditch" as said
by J.K. Rowling
At the beginning of the game, the captains of the
two participating teams shake hands and then all
players mount their brooms. Once every player has
mounted their brooms, the referee releases the balls
and the game begins.
Scoring
10 points - Quaffle through a goalpost.
150 points - Catching of the Golden Snitch by the
Seeker.
Once the Snitch has been caught, the game is over.
Fouls
There are over 700 (This may be 70, 700 seems a lot)
ways to commit a foul in the game of Quidditch. The
team that is fouled against may either get
possession of the Quaffle or a free shot at the goal
post.
Players
Keeper - Guardian of the goalposts
Chasers - Manipulators of the Quaffle
Beaters - The members of a Quidditch team who are
responsible for hitting the Bludgers away from their
teammates and toward the opposition
Seeker - Hunter of the Golden Snitch
Balls
Golden Snitch - The small, fast ball sought by the
Seeker
Quaffle - The bright red football sized ball chased by
the Chasers
Bludger - The hard, heavy, black balls which liven
up Quidditch by indiscriminately attempting to
injure and distract any of the players.
